J. Brian Smith is an owner/member of Jones & Smith Law Firm, LLC. Brian graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999. During law school, Brian served as the Coordinating and Processing Editor for the Natural Resources Journal. Since graduating, Brian has centered his law practice in Albuquerque but has represented clients throughout New Mexico in a variety of legal matters. Prior to law school, Brian worked for many years in the area of coal mining reclamation in Virginia, Tennessee, and the western United States. Brian and his wife, Teresa, have been residents of New Mexico for almost 30 years. Brian enjoys hunting and fishing when he can find the time, and he and Teresa enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, landscaping, gardening, and bee-keeping.
