Donald L. Jones is an owner/member and the senior attorney of Jones & Smith Law Firm, LLC.  Don graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1969 and has lived in Albuquerque and practiced law in New Mexico for over 35 years.  Don has an AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and he has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law.  Don practices in the areas of business, real estate, estate planning, and probate law.  Don is dedicated to his community as well as to his law practice.  He has served as Vice Chairman and as a Director of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.  Don is presently serving as a director of Samaritan Counseling Center of Albuquerque, Inc.  In his spare time, Don enjoys playing golf, spending time with his wife, Merri Jean, and visiting his children and granddaughter who live in California and Washington.

J. Brian Smith is an owner/member of Jones & Smith Law Firm, LLC.  Brian graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999.  During law school, Brian served as the Coordinating and Processing Editor for the Natural Resources Journal. Since that time, he has been practicing law in New Mexico in the areas of real estate, water rights, business law, estate planning, probate, and general civil litigation.  Prior to law school, Brian worked for many years in the area of coal mining reclamation in Virginia, Tennessee, and the western United States.  Brian and his wife, Teresa, have been residents of New Mexico for over 20 years. Brian enjoys golfing, and he and Teresa enjoy traveling, landscaping, and gardening.
